The 20 Hours ECE scheme provides a basic subsidy for three to five year old children up to a maximum of 20 hours per week or 6 hours per day. If the child is enrolled at more than one centre, parents can split the hours claimed as long as they do not claim more than 20 hours a week or six hours a day.  They cannot claim for the same hours twice. This subsidy does not cover the cost of high teacher to student ratios, meals, outings and remaining hours that your child is at the centre.  As Elim International Kids provides these additional services, it is necessary for us to charge parents for these to cover our costs. Elim International Kids passes the entire subsidy received from the Government directly on to the parent or caregiver through the reduction of fees. Please note that there is a minimum attendance of 7 hours per day required.

Please note:

 - Charges will be applied for the days the child is registered for.  An additional $20 will be charged for every quater hour that you are late in collecting your child.

 - Payment is for 52 weeks of the year and should be paid by Direct Deposit or Automatic Payment. If the Centre is closed outside of statutory holidays, then fees will not be charged.

 - We require a bond of two weeks fees upon enrolment, and this is refunded at the end of your time at the Centre.  There will be an additional $20 enrolment fee charged upon enrolment (non-refundable).

 - You are expected to pay fees for the enrolled days regardless of your child’s absence.  Fees are charged in full for the day that your child attends the Centre but is asked to go home earlier due to sickness or any other emergency

 - You are required to advise Elim International Kids four weeks prior to leaving the service.

 - Parents who are applying for a WINZ subsidy must get the subsidy pre-approved or pay normal fees until the centre receives the subsidy.  The centre will reimburse parents for any over payment.  It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that a WINZ subsidy is renewed and they are liable for any shortfall incurred during this period.

 - Fees, education classes and session times may be subject to change.

In accordance with the 'Revised Statement of Desirable Objectives and Practices (DOPS) for Chartered Early Childhood Services in New Zealand' Elim International Kids is required to make our audited annual financial statements available to educators, parents/guardians, whānau, the local community and government, to account for the use of Ministry of Education funding. If you belong to one of these groups and would like to view a copy of our audited financial statements, please contact Irene Padtoc info@elimkids.org.nz
